The BrotherSisters have been hard at work in a West Side rehearsal place beside the interstate, getting ready to troop off to Bob Webb’s to get some recording done. Here is Brother Albert, taking a few moments to re-tune the ears of Chloe the Studio Cat:

The BrotherSisters made somewhat of a formal debut at a house party this past Saturday night on the East End of Charleston, W.Va. At the tail end of their set, in the midst of “Champagne In a Mason Jar,” an arm wrestling match broke about between the party host and a fab West Virginia singer-songwriter in attendance. That’s Brother Douglas with the guitar, thinking: ‘What a cool party this is…’ I believe the match ended in a draw, yes?
