This is a recording studio snapshot of the BrotherSisters version of “Jesus Is On the Mainline” by Mississippi Fred McDowell. We started playing this song out at Boulevard Tavern, where it has become one of our kick-out-the-jams and get-everyone’s-attention song. Listen for the laughter as the tape winds down — it’s a fun song to co-harmonize upon.
