About
The Brother Sisters feature the original music and selected cover songs of Douglas Imbrogno and Albert Perrone. The Brother Sisters feature Douglas Imbrogno on guitar, keyboards and vocals and Albert Perrone on amped-up classical guitar and vocals. Albert’s guitar is called Cody. Doug’s guitar is called Taylor because, well, it’s a Taylor. And Taylor’s a nice name.
Right now, as we are a toddler band, we are just getting started toddling around to places to play. But you can usually catch us every Thursday night at the Open Mic at Boulevard Tavern in downtown Charleston, W.Va., hosted by Sweet Lou Argento. We usually play 4th or so, sometime after 10:30 p.m. It’s a fine scene with a house full of musicians bearing instruments, from Hobo Clay’s jamming harmonica to Casi Null’s multinstru-mentality and much more. Sometimes, Barrelhouse Bonni is in the house.
Sometimes, we play at River and Rail bakery and coffeeshop at Heritage Village in Huntington, W.Va., where there’s music every Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The Brother Sisters are now booking appearances for 2012 and beyond. We also are available for house concerts. Call us (puts thumb thumb and pinkie finger to imaginary ear).
